Ikenick Sno Park 15 Jan 2016 (Day 1 of 4)

Ann and I had wanted to backpack in the fall but we were foiled by weather. So we planned this four day weekend in Sisters as a consolation. We stayed in a hotel (not that brave) and enjoyed hiking and snowshoeing for 4 days. Friday and Monday were sunny but we had to run from rain and snow on Sat and Sun. We managed to hike everything from a sno park with fresh snow to desert, waterfalls, and crunchy snow with stunning views. It was a wonderful weekend of great scenery and fellowship!

Ikenick Sno park is at low elevation - 3000ft - but there was lots of snow. Its track is on the back side of Sahalie and Koosah Falls.
