On a sunny day in August I went back solo to hike the Iron Mountain trail in the sunshine. It was a brilliant day, and many people were out on the trail so I was by no means alone. The wild flowers were in full force and the views of Mt Jefferson, The Sisters, and Mt Washington were spectacular. A wonderful hike and really not that difficult.
