Bambi and I hiked the east today for flowers. It has been very warm and because of the abundant rain and lots of sunshine, the flowers are early in the Eastern Gorge this year. We started at Coyote Wall, heading up the Labyrinth Trail to Atwood Rd to the traverse to Coyote Wall and down via Maui Falls trail. Flowers were stunning. We had gotten an early start, so we were headed down by the time the temps had risen. It was beautiful!
Btw, lots of work has been done on this trail - trails were well marked with new signs and debris discouraged use of many user trails.
