Another Silver Falls hike - this time light and fast 19 December 2015

I did try to go somewhere else. I drove up to Champoeg State Park but a lot of the trails were under water and closed (not stated on the website) so I turned around and just drove to Silver Falls because it is somewhere I could hike without a trail map. Lots of cars in the North parking lot - today was the first rain-free day we have had in a number of days. I didn't bring any supplies with me on the hike, only the camera and a protein bar. I decided to make the hike a workout and snap only a few photos of the falls gorged with water from recent rains. I hiked 7.8 miles in my best time ever - 2 hr and 15 min not including stops. I may be sore tomorrow!
The path to Upper North Falls, the path behind South Falls and behind Middle North Falls are closed. I did a figure 8 for a change of pace, visiting Winter Falls twice.
