Christian Sisters Backpack Around the Three Sisters 1 -5 July 2015

When I moved to Oregon 6 years ago, started hiking and noticed there was a trail around the Three Sisters, I wanted to go.  One problem, I had never been backpacking, ever.  But this past year - God graciously provided me a friend who loves to hike as much as I do and who was willing, no excited, to hike around the Sisters too.  Ann and I had a fabulous trip and we can't wait to do it again!  And more!  5 days, 4 nights, 57 miles and lots of altitude gain. Isolation, heat, cold, cold water, swimming lakes, flowers at their peak, towering mountains, ridges, moonlit nights, convergence of Jupiter and Venus for a bright star...the list goes on.  It was amazing!
