A visit to Missouri in March is very brown. I never realized how brown until my visit originated from the PNW. Brown as far as the eye can see. We had fun hiking the brown!
11 Mar - Andrea and I reminisced by hiking Laumeier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills, MO then Whitecliff Park in Crestwood. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day and lots of people were out enjoying the weather. We had hiked both these places all the time back in the 1990's. We had not been back since and lost our way a few times. Things looked different hiking with a 24 yr old as opposed to a 4 year old! Distances seemed way shorter :-)
15 Mar - Andrea, Mike, Kovi and I hiked at Devil's Ice Box in Columbia MO. The trail was so muddy it was impossible sometimes. I thought Oregon had mud. We were stopped by an overflowing creek and had to turn around.
Map of Laumeier We did more of this hike but I forgot to map it.
Devil's Ice Box (forgot to turn off the GPS before we started driving)

| this is new. there used to be a sculpture here that looked an awfully lot like a bunch of coffins |
 |
| my favorite - the old swimming pool - but they had trimmed a lot of bushes so I don't think it will have that mysterious look it used to have |
