Painted Hills 23 May 2014

Resting the leg yet another week - so off for a long drive to the Painted Hills in the John Day Fossil Beds in Eastern Oregon.  Long drive, but pleasant - traffic was all going the opposite direction :-)
I hiked all three trails in this small park - about 3 miles total.  I took lots of photos as the changing light changed everything.
